Oncotherm develops, manufactures and markets cancer treatment systems that apply a non-toxic therapy method and promote the body’s natural regulatory processes. Their purpose is to heal cancer, to increase cancer patients‘ life expectancies and to improve patients‘ quality of life.
On the following pages you can find information on the effect of Oncothermia, on the treatment of different cancer types, on our devices and on studies of Oncothermia. Because of the German law we are not allowed to let patients access all information.
You can find the link to our press releases, a list of congresses as well as new scientific information in our monthly newsletter. If you do not receive it yet, you can register here: http://www.oncotherm.de/web/page/nologin.ENG/?reqpage=newsletter/index.
National Oncothermia-Symposium 2013
The International Oncothermia Symposium and the National Oncothermia Symposium are taking part in alternating order. In 2012 the International Oncothermia Symposium was organized together with the yearly conference of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS) in Budapest, Hungary. After this very large and successful conference we are now again organizing a national Symposium in Cologne this year.
The National Oncothermia Symposium 2013 will take place in the Pullman Hotel Cologne on June 22nd (Saturday). On June 21st we will have a welcome dinner and would be happy to already meet the participants there.
Participation fee is 100,00 € for the conference and 50,00 € for the dinner.
30th STM Annual Meeting / Oncotherm Bronze Sponsor
The yearly meeting of the Society for Thermal Medicine (STM) will be held on Aruba in this year from April 17th to 21st in the Westin Resort & Casino, Aruba. The organizers are expecting approximately 200 participants representing various disciplines associated with thermal medicine, more than 100 scientific presentations and high quality keynotes, participations from government agencies like NIH and FDA as well as the chance to meet and interact with the next generation of thermal medicine leaders. The next meeting of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society will take place on Aruba during this time. Oncotherm will of course take place in the ICHS meeting and also be present with a talk about Oncothermia. We are supporting the STM event as Bronze Sponsor with a booth and information material on Oncothermia.
The Oncothermia Journal (ISSN 2191-6438) is published three times a year. Our scientific magazine is published mainly in English and forwarded to doctors and scientists worldwide. If you are interested in the contents, please visit www.oncothermia-journal.com. Please contact Ms. Janina Leckler (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you would like to receive a free copy of the journal by post.
Prof. Szász’ book “Oncothermia – Principles and Practices” that was published in the famous Springer Verlag tells the scientific background and the treatment of different cancer types in all details. It has been ordered many times and became a great help for all of those who are working with our method. The book can be ordered from amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Oncothermia-Principles-Practices-Andras-Szasz/dp/9048194970/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1311315123&sr=8-1) or directly from Springer (http://www.springer.com/biomed/cancer/book/978-90-481-9497-1) .
Another important publication deals with the basic of the modulation and brings up new ideas: Gy. Vincze and A. Szasz (2011). On the Extremum Properties of Thermodynamic Steady State in Non-Linear Systems, Thermodynamics - Physical Chemistry of Aqueous Systems, Juan Carlos Moreno-Piraján (Ed.), ISBN: 978-953-307-979-0, InTech, available from: http://www.intechopen.com/articles/show/title/on-the-extremum-properties-of-thermodynamic-steady-state-in-non-linear-systems.
